The despondent woman made the call around 8:29 p.m.
Police described the woman as white, 5’2” with long brown hair and green eyes. She may be wearing UGG boats.
The woman's father said his depressed daughter is driving a red, 2005 Volkswagen Jetta with the license plate A406815. The car may be similar to the vehicle in the photograph.
Authorities are currently searching the area. So far, police have been unable to locate the woman, or her car.
If you spot this vehicle or anyone matching the woman's description, please contact the police immediately.
UPDATE Police found the woman and her car on the 1300 block of West Hood Street. Preliminary reports indicate she was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital in good condition. No life-threatening injuries were reported.
