Cops are on the hunt for a man who pulled a knife on a CTA security guard.
I became aware of these circumstances around 11:08 p.m.
Police said an African-American man wearing a black three-quarter length coat, black boots, and a black hat, threatened to cut a CTA security guard at the 63rd Street CTA Red Line “L” stop, at 220 West 63rd Street.
One officer involved in the search for the suspect said CTA officials told him the man was armed with a gun. However, police dispatch confirmed the suspect was carrying a knife.
No further details are available.
