Man Slashed in the Face with Straight Razor

A man was severely injured in a stabbing on Chicago’s far south side

The incident occurred on the 13200 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue in Chicago’s Riverdale neighborhood. I became aware of the crime at 10:13 p.m.

According to a police officer at the scene, the victim sustained several “deep cuts” to both sides of his face. The offender used a straight razor.

I was unable to get definitive information on the victim’s condition. However, unconfirmed reports indicate the man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, in serious but stable condition.

A motive for the stabbing was not disclosed.

  3. Chicago News Report is reported that this man was shot in the head; which completely contradicts what an officer ON THE SCENE said.

If fact, the same officer who said the victim was slashed with a straight razor, requested a police evidence tech and said the same thing.

  4. We chose to STAY in and watch it all in the comfort of our home, safe, warm and happy. It's really just another day to us anyway and it seems, to the violent people roaming our streets. You're going to have a busy news night Timothy.
