Around 2:07 a.m., a man was beaten and robbed near the intersection of North Western Avenue and West Armitage Avenue, in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood.
According to one source, the robbery occurred across the street from Margie’s Candies at Arturo's Tacos, located at 2001 North Western Avenue.
The offenders were described as three African-American men in dark clothing. The thieves stole $50 from the victim.
Police didn’t described the man’s injuries or his condition. However, it was confirmed the victim was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for medical treatment.
