A Lakeview man reported a Peeping Tom at his bedroom window, twice in one night.
The creepy episodes occurred on the 700 block of West Brompton Avenue on Chicago's north side.
During the first 911 call, which was placed around 12: 30 a.m., the complainant said a man was standing on a chair, leering into his bedroom window.
But when police arrived around 12:32 a.m., an officer said there wasn't a soul to be found on the streets. And when the officer tried to gain entry into the building, no one answered the bell.
At 1:21 a.m., a second 911 call from the same West Brompton Avenue address, indicated the Peeping Tom had returned.
The complainant said the suspect had short hair and was wearing a light brown knitted hat and a "puffy coat". However, the caller never mentioned the suspect’s race or age.
