CTA Passenger Spots Man with a Gun on the Red Line

Around 1:50 p.m., a CTA passenger alerted a Chicago Transit employee after spotting a man with a gun on the CTA Red Line.

The incident took place at the Roosevelt/State Street subway station at 1167 South State Street.

The offender was described as a white man with a Mohawk. By the time witness returned with the CTA employee, the suspect was gone.
