Two Men Shot in South Chicago Neighborhood

Two men were shot at separate locations on the 8700 block of South Burley Avenue in Chicago’s South Chicago neighborhood. The shootings occurred around 6:19 p.m.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the foot and a 21-year-old man was shot in his left thigh. The man who was shot in the foot was taken to Trinity Hospital; the victim who was shot in the thigh was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, downtown.

Police said both men are in good condition.

A motive for the shooting was not disclosed and no one is in custody for the shootings.
