Humboldt Park Home Invasion Might be Connected to Another Crime

Three men involved in a Chicago, Humboldt Park home invasion, might be connected to a separate crime blocks away.

Police say three offenders forced their way into a residence on the 3200 block of West Le Moyne Street. I became aware of the crime at 8:23 p.m.

The suspects were described as three African-American men, possibly in their twenties,  5’10” to 6’2”, and wearing dark hoodies.

No additional information was provided regarding the home invasion.

Around  8 p.m., several blocks north of the home invasion, a man was beaten and robbed near the intersection of West Fullerton Avenue and North Kedzie Avenue.

A citizen told a 911 operator that a white man was being beaten and robbed by four African-American men.

According to a police officer familiar with both crimes, the offenders’ descriptions were similar and the crimes might be connected.
