Choice Taylor Killed in Hit and Run, Help Find His Killer

By all accounts, 17-year-old Choice Taylor was a bright and talented teenager with his whole life ahead of him. But a hit and run driver took his future away from him, and now his family needs answers.

On November 5, between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., Choice was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Algonquin Road and 3rd Avenue in Des Plaines, Illinois. His body was discovered after someone reported what they thought was a mannequin lying in the middle of the road.

Before his death, Choice went to a nearby Jewel grocery store, to pick up his paycheck.

If you know anything about this incident, I urge you to contact police, immediately. Also, if you know anyone who lives in the area, or may have been in the area on November 5, around 6 p.m., and their vehicle has sustained recent front-end damage, call police. Every lead helps.

Remember, Choice could have been your son, your brother, your friend, and anyone capable of leaving an injured child on the street, is capable of anything.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Choice Taylor's family, friends, and loved ones.
