Streeterville 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

Now that police are looking for a pair of armed bandits with a thing for robbing north side convenience stores and restaurants - have the thieves moved farther south?

Around 11:05 p.m., the Streeterville 7-Eleven at 240 East Chicago Ave., just steps away from Chicago‘s Magnificent Mile, was robbed at gunpoint.

The gunman was described as an African-American man, 19 to 20-years-old, 5’10”, 200 lbs, and wearing a black, puffy jacket.

The thief displayed a black handgun and the fled the scene in a tan, older model, four-door vehicle. He was last seen headed eastbound on Chicago Ave.
