Memphis -- Police say Daniella Ramirez of Memphis, Tennessee, abused a 3-year-old boy for having a bowel movement, after she had given him a bath. Authorities have not confirmed Ramirez's relationship to the child.
On October 23, 2010, the 3-year-old was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, after allegedly falling, while trying to get out of the bathtub. That's the story Ramirez gave the firefighters who responded to her 911 call and the medical staff at at the hospital, said WMC-TV News.
But according to an affidavit, Ramirez later told investigators she became angry after the boy defecated on himself.
Medical staff at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital discovered a disturbing list of injuries on the child: bruises all over his body and face, cuts on his legs, a fractured right thigh, and a cigarette burn on one of his shoulders.
