The Next Cook County Board President is....
On October 26, 2010, Cook County Board President candidates Roger Keats, Toni Preckwinkle, and Thomas Tresser discussed the issues facing the Cook County government, and their individual plans to correct the percieved wrongs of the Stroger administration.
Freezing state wage increases for a year, a 10 to 15% cut of administrative employees, and eliminating the Cook County sales tax increase, were suggested as possible solutions to reducing Cook County's massive deficit.
During the debate, things got a little heated when Alderman Preckwinkle was taken to task for her role in electing Todd Stroger.
