Man Assaulted at Lakeview Walgreens

Police were called to the Walgreens at 3046 N. Halsted Street in Lakeview, after several men reportedly threatened a customer‘s life. The altercation took place inside the store around 12:28 a.m.
The victim told police he was afraid to leave the store, because the offenders were waiting outside.
The suspects were described as five African-American men. One of the men was wearing a red, striped t-shirt.
Police arrived at Walgreens around 12:31 a.m., whereupon the officer and the victim canvassed the area for the suspects.
No additional information is available.
