The crime occurred around 10:30 p.m.
Police say an African-American man, approximately 5’5”, wearing a black “puffy” jacket, struck a woman with a bat and took her purse.
The victim’s purse contained her Canadian passport and an airline ticket. According to the complainant, the thief fled northbound towards Devon Ave.
