3 People Shot in Roseland/Pullman Neighborhood, 1 Critical
3 people were shot on the 10400 block of South State Street, in Chicago’s Roseland/Pullman neighborhood.
We learned about the shooting at 10:32 p.m., as evidence technicians were being called to process the crime scene.
Police say three people were shot, one of them critically wounded. It was unclear if all 3 shooting victims were shot inside the South State Street home, because there were bullet casing outside the home and bullets lodged in the interior walls of the home, as well.
According to police, one victim was shot in the hand. That person was taken to Roseland Community Hospital. The second victim was shot in the leg and was taken to Christ Hospital in good condition. The third shooting victim was presumably shot in the back, and was also taken to Christ Hospital. However, this person was listed in critical condition.
A motive for the shooting and a description of the shooter or shooters, was not available at the time of my report.
