Suspected Female Car Thief Hits 31st & Union

This car is similar to the one reported stolen.

9:32 pm --- According to a witness, 20-year-old Andrea Beasley stole a 1993, gray or green, Nissan, Sentra. She then fled eastbound on 31st Street. A woman who was with Beasley when she allegedly stole the car, told police that Beasley might be headed to a location at 2951 S. Dearborn.

A fast-moving, Chicago police officer, apprehended a suspect fitting Beasley’s description, on the 4700 block of west Halsted. When the officer pulled the woman over, she gave him a driver’s license with a different name. The officer ran the plates on the vehicle, and the car was registered to a man who lives in the area where the car was (allegedly) stolen. The officer also said that the driver admitted to being at a pizza place, in the area where the crime occurred.

Good job officer!!!!!
