Man Shot Near Bubbleland Laundry: 9108 S. Commercial Ave
UPDATE: The man who was shot in the neck, as well as the chest, died. He was 34-years-old. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
9:14 pm --- Two calls of shots fired near 91st and Commercial Ave., on Chicago’s south side.
Further information indicated that a man was shot near the Bubbleland Laundry, located at 9108 S. Commercial Ave. The man was lying on the sidewalk in the middle of the block, near the alley. Police requested extra units to manage a crowd that was gathering at the scene.
According to a Chicago police officer, an African-American man, in his early twenties, was shot in the neck. The officer described the man's condition as critical. "He was shock in the neck. I don't think he is going to make it, " said the officer.
