CTA: Shooting & Robbery Aboard 55th Street Garfield Bus

9:24 pm -- A silent alarm was activated on the 55th Garfield bus, this evening.

CTA bus number 1566 was headed eastbound on Garfield Boulevard, when a group of African-American men with red bandannas on their heads, started shooting and throwing bricks.

It appears that the disturbance started on the bus and spilled onto the street.

The suspects were last seen heading southbound.
