Carjacking: 6300 South May Street

11:17 pm -- A man was carjacked on the 6300 block of South May, on Chicago’s south side. The vehicle was described as a 2000, gold, Bonneville, with an Indiana license plate.

The victim told police he was approached by two men; one carrying a gun.

Police located the abandoned vehicle near 68th and May.

One black male is in custody. At the time of my report, officers were chasing a second suspect through an alley near Racine and May. He is described as African-American with braided hair, and wearing a white shirt.
