The lawsuit alleges that Dr. Earles kept Mac in his office for 20 hours, instead of sending Mac to the hospital. McCullough believes that if Earles had gotten Mac the medical attention he needed, he may still be alive.
The wrongful-death lawsuit was filed last week in Cook County Circuit Court.
Mac's wife is seeking $50,000 in damages.
