UPDATE: The 3 victims were stopped at a red light, when a car pulled up and opened fire. It has been confirmed that the victims drove themselves to Our Lady of Resurrection Medical Center. The victims’ ages are 24, 25, and 27. The 24-year-old was shot in both legs; the 25-year-old was shot in both arms and his leg; and the 27-year-old man was shot in the jaw.
Chicago --- Around 5 am this morning, three male victims were shot near Cicero and Wellington. Shell casing were found at the scene.
The victims' wounds were described by an officer on the scene, as serious. One victim was shot in the arm and another in the leg, but the officer wasn't sure where the third victim was shot. The victims are said to range in the ages of 18 to 25-years of age.
I believe the shooting victims were driven to the hospital in one of the men's vehicles. Police on the scene said a car was parked in front of Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center (5645 West Addison Street) with its doors open, and there was a "lot" of blood on the sidewalk.
According to the police, five male Hispanics approached the three men and opened fire. No further details are available.
