CNN's Don Lemon, a black homosexual who reportedly only dates white men, recently shared his list of what's wrong with Black America.
As if being queer weren't enough, CNN host Don Lemon has further outraged the black community by using his highly visible platform to so-call trash his own people.
According to Lemon, the black race is in complete shambles, because black men walk around with their asses hanging out - most blacks are high school drops - and blacks, compared to whites, are filthy litterbugs.

Don Lemon is leading from the front by thinking for himself and not following peer pressure to be stereotypical black. He's probably experienced more discrimination from the black community for being gay than the white community for being black.
ReplyDeleteSadly, some of the remarks referencing LINK cards, ape features etc. in the comments indicate an extremely limited view of a very complex issue; one that is aparently beyond the scope of Don Lemmon's comprehension. Obviously many have negative, limited views of homosexuality and homosexuals in general. However, that community united and worked together to create positive and powerful images without castigating those within the community who are outside the norm. Stereotypes,slurs, negative images and generalizations that damaged the self esteem of young gays was rightly denounced as unacceptable and no doubt Lemmon shared in that denouncement. It appears he's doing the opposite for HIS black community. What is he saying on the airwaves to HELP???? In my view, Don Lemmon needs to "clean up" his act! Condolences to his parents, grandparents and extended family.

Yet you cast him out as someone in the black community who has to "clean up" his act. Should he become less educated and more thuggish? Should he speak street instead of proper English? By the way, his last name is Lemon, not Lemmon. Work on your own education instead of faulting Mr. Lemon for getting ahead. Keep blaming Oliver North for the problems in the black community and see how for that gets you instead of addressing the harsh truths that Don Lemon talked about.

You should be agreeing with him on these issues instead of blaming the government. Even though some of the issues raised here regarding the treatment of our community in the past are legitimate, we have to stop using them as excuses for the current issues affecting our community now. To say he isn't offering any solutions is false. The first step to solving any problem is to recognize the problem, and he's voicing his opinion as to what he believes the problems are. There's nothing wrong with that. Whenever someone speaks on the issues we need to stop being so sensitive!

I know and work with "mentally challenged" whites all the time, but I never stoop so low as to start degrading them in person, or by way of posting online anonymously. Quotas.. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many white males I'm aware of that have benefitted/progressed in so many ways just because they're white!! I first became aware of that in college when some professors used to turn their heads when they seen a group of white kids (males) cheating... It's unfortunate that our Black community in general has some issues right now, but instead of TRYING to degrade the race, why don't you use your time in a more productive way and help out!!
