At approximately 7:13 p.m., a 911 caller reported a man for allegedly trying to “seduce” a “young Hispanic girl” outside Daniel’s Mexican Food, 4501 North Simonds Drive, at Montrose Beach in Uptown.
Seconds later, another emergency call indicated the alleged offender and another male were fighting.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing all black clothing and a bandana.
The so-called offender was last seen headed northbound from Daniel’s Mexican Food, said police.
The male who reportedly fought with the suspect sustained facial lacerations and paramedics were called to treat his injuries.

ReplyDeleteThere was another attempted child abduction in the Loop about a week ago; a tourist from the burbs was there with his wife and kids and an old creepy negro tried to steal a blond-haired, blue eyed 3 year old girl right in front of her parents near the Thompson Center. Second City Cop had a blog post about it. The dad followed the guy for several blocks and the creep was arrested.
ReplyDeleteThis is the third such incident I can recall happening this summer, the first being at North Avenue beach early in the season. Same pattern, black guy tries to swoop in suddenly and carry off a child. What's the deal here?
ReplyDeleteNot sure why black guys would want to grab some poor little kid? Hell, they probably already have a few they don't take care of anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that the messiest, noisiest, loudest area of the whole lakefront while enjoying a bike ride on an otherwise beautiful day? I've noticed every other one of the impromptu campsites there didn't have a gas-powered generator for their music competitions this year though. Why not just un-bolt the toilet from the floor and bring it with you too?
