23-year-old Vidal Rainey, whose alleged Facebook profile indicates he lives in Cicero, Illinois, has been charged with several attempted sexual assaults and robberies in the Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, said police.
The suspected deviant was arrested earlier this week on the 5300 block of Washington Boulevard, in the city's West Austin neighborhood.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Mr. Rainey has been charged with seven counts of armed robbery, two counts of attempted criminal sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of aggravated unlawful restraint, one count of robbery, one count of attempted aggravated robbery, and one count of attempted armed robbery!
Can you imagine what this alleged pervert could have accomplished if had funneled all that energy into something positive?!
Chicago News Report found an online profile belonging to man named Vidal Rainey. A map associated with the account indicates the person who owns the profile lives in Cicero, Illinois. The profile also includes obscured photographs of a man with dreadlocks.
Based on our research, Rainey may be using the alias Greg Eaton. Some of the same photos on Rainey's Facebook page are also in Greg Easton's profile.
In one picture, Mr. Eaton appears to have a mark, possibly a teardrop tattoo, under his right eye; just like the suspect mentioned in the July 2012 police alert.
In addition to those findings, we also unearthed a 2010 affidavit where a then 23-year-old woman was trying to adopt a then 15-year-old male named Vidal Rainey, Jr.
The connection between Vidal and Vidal, Jr., is unclear.
