Uptown: Strong arm robbery on Clarendon Ave.


A man’s wallet was taken during a strong arm robbery in Chicago’s North Side, Uptown neighborhood, overnight.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. near the intersection of 4100 North Clarendon and 800 West Cuyler Avenues.

The mugger was described as a black man in his 30s, about 5’10” and 180 pounds.

The robber was wearing baggy jeans and a baggy white shirt with a logo on the back, said police.

The thief was last seen running southbound on Clarendon from Cuyler.

At the time of this report, the crook was still at large.
