100 people gathered in one spot at 4:00am? Isn't pride fest a few weeks away? Fighting or not, that is not tolerated where I'm from. You people here better get a grip. I'm so glad I'm renting here. I am smart enough though.
ReplyDeleteThis is absurd?
ReplyDeleteHow is Ald. Tom Tunney addressing these roving bands of disenfranchised black "youth" marrauding through Boystown on a nightly basis.
And when they're old enough to legally enter the bars, we get pickpocketing and theft from the respectable patrons.
This isn't a diatribe against blacks in the bars. This is a Lakeview/Boystown problem and not being addressed.
In comparison, Granville Anvil is the oldest gay bar in the city and is probably the most racially diverse and inclusive bar of any bar in the city.
Read his FB page. He's getting kudos for battery recycling efforts (or something similar) while there isn't even a bottle return law here. Ignorance is bliss. I truly wish I was.
ReplyDeleteAnd the 3:33am incident on Orchard? They have absolutely no problem pissing on your cars in broad daylight in the parking lots (with their toddler in tow). Teach 'em right Daddy. Grocery bags in hand. They live there now (but just couldn't wait to get "home" to relieve themselves).
ReplyDeleteAnd Grandville Anvil? Nice try at advertising. Seriously, I'd commit hari-kari first. There was a GL guy in there one night just downing shot after shot after shot after shot. The bartender didn't care. I did however. He was probably worried how he'd get OUT of that "neighborhood". Good Lord.
