Ladies beware!

No white T-Shirts? Thats unusual...
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Power Rangers are down on their luck? There was a black black ranger and a black red ranger....Zack and TJ
ReplyDeleteOh my! Keep an eye on the one that's outside of the "Boystown" Starbucks on Broadway/Roscoe. Sometimes he's outside of that little convenience store nearby as well. He watches every single move you make too (we're all "rich" ya know). He watches what you take out of/have in your pocket while at the register (from the outside)! Watch this one. He's outside, just waiting for you. He's gonna "go off" any day now. I'M watching too though.
ReplyDeleteNeither of these businesses chase him away. Can Starbucks lend their helping/progressive Seattle hand and give him their daily proceeds already? I'll hand it to that Renaldi's in Andersonville. An employee there did chase him away.
At least people on the street are becoming aware and calling police attention to this. The cops can't be everywhere at once, but if astute citizens call 911 & report this & ask for a police presence at the station, they will come, and the roaches will scatter like, well, roaches.
ReplyDeleteKudos to whomever called this in.

ReplyDeleteWhen did this become a crime. People need to be vigilant, but this is going a bit to far.
256 pm - You're right, it's not a crime. But it is highly suspicious behavior. Nobody loiters around miscellaneous train stops, especially ones like that which aren't a transfer stop, and are exposed to the elements above ground. It's pretty darn easy to tell when people are casing a place or scoping out people to look for opportunities.
ReplyDeleteBut you go right ahead, keep your head in the sand, and pretend that bad people, especially black teens don't do bad things, particularly in Chicago. You're EXACTLY the type of easy prey they're looking for.
Correct, anyplace else on earth except Chicago (specifically Edgewater/Uptown and most of Lakeview) this is considered suspicious behavior and is addressed.
ReplyDeleteHere, it's enabled and coddled. One of these enablers still to this day doesn't realize why he lost my business. He doesn't get it. There's always a Link card for him too I guess.
