Around 7:45 p.m., two suspects, one of them armed with a gun, robbed a man on the street near the intersection of North Rockwell Street and West Rascher Avenue, said police.
The offenders were described as two male blacks.
One suspect is approximately 250 pounds and was wearing a white jogging suit.
The second offender is extremely short and was dressed in all black clothing.
Investigators said the thieves stole the victim’s cell phone and wallet.
The crooks fled the scene on foot and may still be in the area.
Ok. This is my neighborhood and I'm going to speak on this...
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell are these people coming from. Demolished Cabrini buildings?? A few years ago, you would NEVER see a black person around here. We were a very diverse neighborhood with Greeks, Italians, Germans, Irish, Polish, Koreans, Filipinos, Gypsies(yes),Serbs, etc. There was very little crime and no robberies in the middle of the street.
People were fearful of blacks moving into the area. They have been proven to be correct. I feel like calling the cops every time that I see someone black in the hopes that I can prevent a crime.
You really can't call 911, most of the operators are what we call "Sheboons" (obese, loud, nasty black women) and they will object to you reporting yet another black crime and try to encourage you to hang up.
ReplyDeleteI hope it won't be a shocker for the city when we start taking the law into our own, more capable hands.
