55-year-old Karrieem Dixon's battered body was discovered Sunday, around 11:45 a.m., in his Far South Side home at 251 West 115th Street.
Dixon's death was ruled a homicide.
Investigators are looking for a Red 1993 Ford F-150 pickup truck with the license 29564Z.
The vehicle has a gray horizontal stripe on the back.
The stolen truck is registered in Dixon's name.
If you spot this vehicle, which may be similar to the one in the photo, contact police, immediately.
