At 8:06 p.m., an attempted robbery was reported on the 1100 block of West Lill Avenue, near Lill and Racine, in Lincoln Park.
According to police dispatch, the 911 caller said 10 to 15 male blacks tried to rob the caller's friends.
Investigators later confirmed that the incident was not an attempted robbery, but an actual strong arm robbery.
The thieves stole several cell phones and cash from their victims, said police.
According to a responding officer, one offender stuck his hand in his pocket and said, "Do what I say or get popped!"
The gang of thieves were wearing all black clothing and one crook was wearing a white mask.
Around 8:24 p.m., police apprehended 10 male blacks near Halsted and Fullerton and another suspect was arrested on the 2200 block of North Burling Street.
It's unclear how many people were robbed during the gangs' alleged Halloween crime spree, but Chicago News Report counted at least 4 or 5 robbery victims.

ReplyDeleteI wonder what it would be like if there was nothing for them to take, people who lived in a society where we didn't care about their belongings, didn't parade around with all the best things, showing off. We don't even need cash there's no reason to carry around cash everything can be purchased with credit.

After all, it's the economy that makes these ghetto thugs do what they do. Poor things, life is so hard for them. It's easier to steal what you want rather than earn it by getting a job..ANY job. Hell, they make more money robbing from innocent people day and night then if they were working. It's their mindset and lifestyle. Doing the right thing never occurs to them. Let's just blame society for all their woes and pass it on from generation to generation. Way too much pc going on in this city. Perfectly acceptable for the have nots to take from the haves...NOT! Then, when we scream about it, we're racist. What a joke we are becoming.

ReplyDeleteI turned on Faux News and they had a live report from Halsted and it was all blacks celebrating, I don't enjoy their company and it's yet another thing ruined by them.
ReplyDeleteGhetto thugs are getting to be a REAL problem in the city!! Anything that is nice and worth keeping, Ghetto blacks have to come and mess it up!! And they are breeding like cockroaches filling up section 8 houses all over the city. In 10 years Chicago will become one big ghetto and that's a real shame!
