A victim was robbed at gunpoint in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, around 7:25 p.m., said police.
According to preliminary information, the robbery occurred on the 5100 block of North Winthrop, near Winthrop and Winona.
Details are sketchy, but at least two male black offenders were involved in the armed robbery; which involved the use of silver handgun, said investigators.
One suspect is believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, approximately six-feet-tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a black hat, and dark-colored baggy jeans.
A second offender was wearing a long sleeve red t-shirt with a hood on it and black cargo pants.
A wallet and other items were stolen, said police.
