Arrests at Uptown's Aragon Ballroom
Four minutes past midnight, police reportedly arrested a man at an Uptown venue.
According to police dispatch, security at the Aragon Ballroom, 1106 West Lawrence Avenue, were holding a man for police.
Aragon security officers purportedly told authorities the offender, who was described as a Hispanic man, was carrying a "homemade gun".
Police were on the scene around 12:07 a.m.
At 2:03 a.m., police were called to the Aragon a second time, on separate incident.
A large fight was reported at the North Side ballroom.
Security was reportedly holding another man for authorities.
The man allegedly struck a staff member.
Noel Torres, El Komander, and Estilo Especial were scheduled to perform the night the alleged arrests were made.
