Gunshots in Lakeview, really an act of vandalism
Gunshots were reported on the 700 block of West Belmont Avenue, around 4 a.m.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered that what the 911 callers actually heard, was the sound of a car window being broken.
The car, which was located in an alley, was set upon by ten male blacks. Some of them were carrying poles or bats, said an eyewitness.
After smashing the car's window, the offenders fled the scene in a gray van.
The vandals were last seen going northbound on Halsted Street from Belmont.

Again the south side savages bring their bad ways to Lakeview. Thanks to section 8 vouchers, and an emasculated CPD.
ReplyDelete"ten male blacks. Some of them were carrying poles or bats,"...this group of ghetto thugs should have been called in to 911 as soon as they were seen. Blacks walking around with baseball bats means trouble and I'm sure they weren't playing on a baseball team.
ReplyDeleteThat Broadway Youth center needs to close as well. All they have are a bunch of punks who throw trash every where, hang out at the bus stop and shoot their big mouths off exhibiting their total lack of manners and respect for the community.
If Tom Tunney can't start controlling his ward...VOTE HIM OUT next time. Sitting in Ann Sathers is not my idea of doing his JOB!

Dude, if you think that's something... then wait 'til the city and CTA extends its Red Line service to 130th street where all those isolated savages have a more accessible route to make their way Downtown and northward to wreck even more havoc on the city.
The chickens will really come home to roost then!!
