Two women, injured in separate incidents, showed up at two Chicago businesses looking for help.
At 5:06 a.m., an injured female, believed to be 19-years-old, walked into the Edgewater neighborhood Dunkin Donuts at 6250 North Clark Street; seeking assistance.
A Dunkin Donuts employee immediately called police.
Apparently, the young woman had been assaulted.
Several minutes later, at 5:19 a.m., a woman covered in blood showed up at an Avondale restaurant.
The blood-soaked woman stumbled into the IHOP at 2818 West Diversey Avenue; badly in need of medical attention.
Witnesses at the all-night eatery said the injured woman was bleeding profusely from the head.
Ambulances were called for both women.
As of 6 a.m., there are no updates.
