Chicago Cable Man Accused of Sex Crime

There are few details, but I will tell you what I know.

This evening, around 7 p.m., a Chicago cable repairman was accused of a sexual offense at female customer’s home.

After an hour of phone calls and emails, I have been unable to determine where the alleged offense occurred and which cable company the purported offender works for.

Unconfirmed sources indicate the alleged crime may have happened on the 5100 block of West Strong Street. But, again, that information has not been confirmed.

According to police, the cable repairman masturbated in the female customer’s house slipper. An evidence technician has been called to the scene to collect the evidence.

In light of Comcast cable repairman Anthony Triplett‘s 2006 murder charges, authorities are taking this alleged crime very seriously.

Hopefully, one of the many reporters who read this blog, will jump on this story and provide us with more details.

  1. I've always wondered about certain cable guys, some of them look pretty sketchy to me, but this story seems really weird. was the woman home? If she was, the guy decides a "slipper" is the thing for him? He didn't harm the woman for fear of losing his job?? Really really weird story.

  2. I agree. It sounds very bizarre. But I could tell by the officer's tone, he was taking this matter very seriously. In fact, he is the one who mentioned Triplett's murder charges.

The officer said he wanted to cover his basis in case this crime is connected with other crimes.

Towanda, I am no longer shocked by what turns some people on. Clearly, this man, if guilty, has a foot fetish.
