South Daytona, Florida --- Police are looking for two women who snatched an elderly woman's purse and callously drug the senior citizen along the pavement as she clung to her handbag.
The robbery occurred January 18, 2011, in the parking lot of the General Dollar store at 2016 South Ridgewood Avenue in South Daytona, Florida.
78-year-old Jean Nelson of Volusia County, was trying to be charitable when two women drove up to her and asked her for money. When Nelson went to hand the passenger some cash, the woman grabbed Nelson's purse and the driver sped away.
As the thieves drove off, Nelson held on to her purse and was dragged several feet.
The elderly woman sustained internal brain juries and a broken ankle. In the video, the SUV appears to run over Nelson's leg.
The passenger in the SUV is described as a woman with blonde hair and light blue or green eyes. She is between 17 to 20-years-old and has a thin build. The victim was unable to describe the second offender.

Are you fricking kidding me? WTF! I hope this lady makes it and is going to be able to live a normal life. My son was dragged 3 blocks by a vehicle 8 years ago and a "normal life" hasn't been achieved yet. NO one was charged because they said they didn't know they were dragging him. You tube wasn't a sensation than. Thank the goddess for that video camera and I hope they punish those scumbags to the fullest extent of the law. Perhaps they should have their license revoke FOREVER! I just don't get the mean, callus hatefulness of people now days. A gene is definitely missing from their brains. Something has gone wrong in the conception process for sure. It's sad to say but EVIL lurks EVERYWHERE in our society.
ReplyDeleteWait! There's more! These same women snatched a purse from a woman in a wheelchair in Port Orange, Florida. They committed that crime the day before they dragged Jean Nelson along the pavement.
ReplyDeleteI hope they catch these scumbag thugs and for punishment, I think they should have to work in a senior home for the rest of their lives with NO PAY! How about making them work in a mental hospital? Are there any prison that just house senior prisoners? That would be a good place to put them if there are.
ReplyDeleteYEAH! They caught them!
