An initial 911 report indicated the crime occurred near the intersection of North Marine Drive and West Irving Park Road. But authorities said the man robbed at 3950 North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.
Police said the robbery victim was struck in the face by an African-American man. No further information was given regarding the suspect.
The offender stole the victim’s Samsung cell phone.
3950 is on the corner of inner LSD and Irving Park and just what are these ghetto thugs doing in some of the areas they are in? I can tell you they don't live there. Oh wait, I forgot, it's where the money is so it's easy pickings. It's sad and unfair but pretty soon, people will dial 911 if they even SEE a young black man coming towards them because of these ghetto thugs. Rahm can't be elected too soon:)
