2 Shot in Front of Chicago, Lawndale Church

This evening, two people were shot in front of a Chicago, Lawndale neighborhood church.

The shooting happened around 7:40 p.m. in front of the Kingdom Restoration Christian church at 1311 South Karlov Avenue, near the intersection of Karlov and West 13th Street.

One of the shooting victims managed to run to an address on the 1200 block of South Kedvale Avenue.

That victim was taken to Mount Sinai with a gunshot wound to his right hand. He is good condition.

The second shooting victim's status is unknown. A motive was not disclosed.
