The attack occurred around 4:15 p.m., in an apartment on the 6400 block of North Clark Street in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.
Authorities said the victim’s boyfriend is a professional boxer from Cuba. The offender allegedly used his boxing skills to punch his girlfriend in the face.
The victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. The complainant's condition was not disclosed.
