Police: Intoxicated Man Wanders onto Lake Shore Drive

Police found a man clinging to a tree on a median in the middle of an expressway.

The bizarre situation unfolded near the 3400 block of North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.

Around 10:08 p.m, authorities were on the scene and working rapidly to rescue the man, before he was hit by a car.

According to one officer, the man appeared to be drunk.
