On November 2, 2010, some time between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., a man was attacked and robbed near the intersection of North Sheridan Rd. and West Jarvis Ave., in Chicago’s Roger’s Park neighborhood.
Police received several calls regarding the robbery. One 911 caller witnessed the crime from his apartment window.
The citizen said he saw two men attacking one man. The caller described the attackers as an “African-American man and a bald White man“.
Police disagree with the citizen‘s description of the offenders. They say there were four attackers and all of them were African-American. However, police agree the citizen’s 911 call was related to the assault and robbery at Sheridan and Jarvis.
According to police, all four suspects were wearing black sweatshirts and black hoodies.
