The shooting occurred around 12:44 p.m.
According to the victim’s brother, the shooters were described a two masked men, dressed in black sweaters with white t-shirts underneath. Both suspects were also wearing jeans.
Police say the offenders fled northbound from the crime scene.
An off-duty police officer reportedly saw the suspects in the area of West Cortland Street and North Nordica Avenue.
The shooting victim’s condition was not disclosed.
