2 Men Wanted for Attempted Murder of Police Officers in Bridgeport

Two Hispanic men involved in a robbery near the intersection of South Ashland Avenue and South Archer Avenue in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood, are also wanted for the attempted murder of several police officers.

Sources say the men, who were fleeing the scene of an armed robbery, tried to run over officers with their car. The incident occurred this afternoon. I received the news tip around 3:50 p.m.

The suspects were last seen driving a 1998, Dodge Durango with the license plate number 876L190. The vehicle has a chrome grill and may have bullet holes in it, from where officers shot at the car. Police say one suspect may have been shot, as well.

If you see this car, contact police immediately. The suspects are considered armed and extremely dangerous.
