Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Ashburn Neighborhood

Around 1:17 a.m., a woman was robbed at gunpoint on the 3700 block of West 77th Street in Chicago’s Ashburn neighborhood.
The victim was approached by an armed suspect who stole two purses. One purse contained a pair of shoes and the other held the victim’s personal documents.
The thief was described as an African-American man wearing a dark green jacket. He is approximately 20 to 30-years-old, 5’9”, and 140 lbs.
He was last seen running northbound through the yard at 3730 West 77th Street.
