3 People Shot: 6200 S Paulina

10:02 pm -- 911 received several calls for shots fired on the 6200 block of South Paulina, on Chicago's south side.

According to an officer on the scene, three people were shot. All of the victims were African-American men. One of the victims was 16-years-old. Two of the men were shot in the side, and the third was shot in the head.

The men were shooting dice, when a vehicle approached them from behind and fired several shots. The victims did not get a good look at the vehicle, but said it went eastbound from the crime scene.

At 10:18 pm, about a block away, a battery occurred on 62nd and Marshfield, while police were dealing with the shooting at 62nd and Paulina.

The shooting victims were taken to Stroger Hospital and Mount Sinai.
