A woman was robbed at gunpoint on Chicago’s South Side, said authorities.
The robbery occurred between the 7300 and 7500 block of South Emerald Avenue, around 5 p.m., said police.
According to investigators, the offender, who was described as a “heavy set” black man wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, put a gun to the victim's head and demanded her money.
After the armed robbery, the gunman told the victim to turn around and keep walking, said police.
