At approximately 8:23 p.m., a 911 caller reported a "group of men" attacking another man in the hallway at 5750 North Kenmore Avenue.
Two of the offenders were described as male blacks.
One black suspect was wearing a gray coat and the other was wearing a black coat, said police.
Investigators said the muggers took the victim’s keys and his money.
At 7:31 p.m., an ambulance was called to 5651 North Kenmore Avenue. Apparently, the victim traveled to that location and was bleeding from the head.
At 8:44 p.m., police said they had a possible offender detained at Hollywood and Kenmore Avenues.

ReplyDeleteOf the few people I've truly befriended or became acquainted with in this city, two of them live right there and are, in my opinion, what you are calling "enablers" here. After years of their rose colored glasses ramblings, I had to tell them "we just don't connect" and end it.
I'm sorry this happened but, unfortunately, there will be more. For the social workers: I can tell in my neighborhood that these Section 8 dispersals are quite insecure and clearly do not WANT to be where you put them. Now spend more tax dollars, put together committees, update your text books and in 10 years release the "study" of how and why this just didn't work - either.
