Two alleged psychiatric patients have been charged with a string of burglaries in Riverside and North Riverside, Illinois, said police.
Joseph C. Green and Shaquille Wilson, both 17-years-old, met one another at Hartgrove Hospital, said authorities.
The West Side Chicago mental health facility provides psychiatric treatment and specialty diagnostic and evaluation services for children and adolescents who exhibit sexually aggressive behavior.

According to the Chicago Tribune, police said Green and Wilson concocted their plans to burglarize the Riverside and North Riverside homes while recieving (free?) medical care at Hartgrove Hospital.
The teens, whose crime spree may have started back in November 2011, were charged as adults.
Green and Wilson face two counts of felony residential burglary.

ReplyDeleteThis news reports is sad but this can bring an end to a string of burglaries in the area. The young boys need to be checked properly if they are fit to stay on trial or if there are other alternatives by which they can be helped.
