Strong arm robbery near Boystown convenience store
Authorities are investigating a strong arm robbery near a Lakeview, Boystown neighborhood convenience store, said police.
The crime occurred Friday at approximately 1:10 a.m., near the 7-Eleven at 3700 North Broadway, near Broadway and Waveland.
The muggers were described as two male blacks.
One suspect is tall and was last seen wearing a tan jacket.
The second offender is shorter and was wearing a red jacket and carrying a black backpack.
The thieves may have been in the company of a third male black and a female black, said police.
The two identified offenders were last seen going westbound on Waveland.

Well, it's kind of a shame when you have no anti-loitering laws here. None. Thugs can hang out on corners for HOURS unchecked while your scurred PoPo slow down their squad car and leer at this White man simply walking home at midnight (i.e. moving along). Really a mess here. Pathetic.

There's something in the black genetic code that makes them want to obstruct doorways, stairwells and any thoroughfare.
ReplyDeleteAnon 1:42pm. It's definitely a black Chicago thang that hasn't been addressed, and after too many long years here, I'm sure it will never be. Detroit corrected the problem about 2 decades ago.
