Fire reported on Sheridan Road
At 11:07 p.m., a fire was reported at 7621 North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Rogers Avenue.
According to police dispatch, neighbors saw smoke pouring from a female tenant’s apartment.
Several residents knocked on woman's door, hoping to get her attention.
Traffic was temporarily blocked at Sheridan and Rogers, and at Sheridan and Howard.
An unconfirmed dispatch report suggested at least one person was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
No further details are available.
